For those of us who value tradition, vintage Christmas treasures are going to be a part of our celebratory decorating ... for one main reason. If we live 70 years, we are only able to celebrate Christmas 70 times. When you look at Christmas that way, we realize our cherished memories of those few times we are able to enperience the love and joy of the holidays are embedded in our hearts and minds. We see a vintage item from the past, and it immediately trigers something within and we remember how our mothers used a similar item to make Christmas special for us. So when you are treasure hunting for the holidays this year, keep an eye out for those vintage classics you remember. Those are the ones you should never pass up, for yourself or your loved somes you want to share your memories with.
